If you're looking for a newer shonen anime that's gaining a lot of popularity, My Hero Academia is a great choice. It takes place in a world where nearly everyone has superpowers, and follows a young boy named Deku as he trains to become a hero. The character development and themes of heroism are both very well-done in this series.
Of course, no list of anime like Naruto would be complete without mentioning Dragon Ball Z. This classic shonen anime follows the adventures of Goku and his friends as they battle powerful enemies and protect the world from destruction.
For those of you who enjoy darker, more mature anime, Attack on Titan is a great choice. It takes place in a world where humanity lives in fear of giant humanoid creatures known as Titans, and follows a group of soldiers as they fight for survival. The animation and action sequences in this series are both very impressive.
Sword Art Online is another popular anime series that takes place in a virtual reality MMORPG, where players must fight for survival in a deadly game world. The action and romance in this series are both very engaging.
If you're looking for more Naruto content specifically, you may want to continue on to Naruto Shippuden, which follows the older and more powerful Naruto as he faces even greater challenges. And finally, Black Clover is a newer shonen anime that follows a young boy named Asta as he strives to become the strongest mage in the kingdom, despite being born without magical powers.
